| Abstract (English): |
The current study aims to develop smart learning environments in Saudi universities in line with the future requirements of artificial intelligence. To achieve this goal, a systematic review was conducted on studies published on Scopus and Google Scholar databases from 1990 until 2021 on the development of e-learning in the light of artificial intelligence (in addition to the relevant Arab studies). First, a list of challenges and opportunities for developing smart learning environments according to the future requirements of artificial intelligence was composed. Then, a questionnaire was prepared and reviewed by several academic experts in educational technology in Saudi universities. The study results include many challenges expected to be encountered in the smart learning environments in Saudi universities concerning the future preconditions for artificial intelligence. It also presented a number of opportunities and procedures for facing such challenges and exploiting the opportunities. Finally, some recommendations and suggestions were presented. استهدفت الدراسة الحالية تطوير بيئات التعلم الذكية بالجامعات السعودية في ضوء متطلبات الذكاء الاصطناعي المستقبلية، ومن أجل تحقيق هدف الدراسة، تم الاطلاع على الدراسات التي تناولت تطوير التعليم الإلكتروني في ضوء الذكاء الاصطناعي، والتي نشرت على قواعد بيانات منذ تسعينيات القرن الماض ي حتى عام 2021 بالإضافة للدراسات العربية ذات الصلة،)Scopus(وتم التوصل إلى قائمة بالتحديات والفرص التي تواجه بيئات التعلم الذكية في ضوء متطلبات الذكاء الاصطناعي المستقبلية. ومن ثم تم إعداد استبانة في ضوئها، وبعد تقنينها ، تم عرضها على عدد من الأكاديميين المتخصصين في مجال تقنيات التعليم بالجامعات السعودية لتعرُّف وجهة نظرهم في التحديات التي ي توقع أن تواجه الجامعات السعودية في هذا الصدد، والفرص المتاحة، وأخيرًا إجراءات مواجهة التحديات والاستفادة من الفرص. وبعد إجراء المعالجات الإحصائية؛ تم التوصل إلى عدد من النتائج، أهمها: "موافقة" أفراد العينة على التحديات التي ي توقع أن تواجه بيئات التعلم الذكية بالجامعات السعودية في ضوء متطلبات الذكاء الاصطناعي المستقبلية، و "موافقة بشدة" على الفرص المتاحة وإجراءات مواجهة التحديات واستغلال الفرص، وفي ضوء ذلك تم تقديم عدد من التوصيات والمقترحات.
