مستخلص: This systematic review assessed the effect of commonly used endodontic chelators on microhardness of radicular dentine. The literature search was conducted in PubMed-MEDLINE, Embase, Scopus, Google Scholar and additional sources such as grey literature, major journals and conference proceedings using using MeSH terms. The systematic review protocol was registered on the PROSPERO database (http://www.crd.york.ac.uk) with the number CRD42022308329 and the recommendations of the PRISMA statement were followed. JBI Critical Appraisal tool was used to assess the risk of bias of the studies. The results of the network meta-analysis shows that phytic acid, citric acid and phosphoric acid showed more reduction in microhardness when compared to EDTA. Whereas glycolic acid and maleic acid showed almost equal results like EDTA. QMix and MTAD showed least reduction in microhardness when compared to EDTA. In conclusion EDTA can cause greater reduction in the microhardness as compared to other chelating solutions such as QMix, MTAD, citric acid, maleic acid. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
