مستخلص: The powder metallurgy technique was used to create ceramics from bentonite and glass beads (SiO2) with the addition of Magnesium Oxide (MgO) in various compositions of 0, 10, 20, and 30. (wt percent). For 120 minutes, HEM was used to mix Bentonite-Glass bead and Magnesium Oxide (wet milling). The sample was printed using a hydraulic press at a pressure of 80 kgf/cm2 (die pressing). For 4 hours, the samples were sintered in a High Temperature Furnace set to 900°C. The physical characteristics of the material studied include bulk density, True Density, particle diameter, porosity, and water absorption. The generated phase was studied using XRD, and the material's hardness was measured using a Micro Hardness Tester. According to the results, the addition of MgO 0.10,10,20, and 30 (wt. percent) at a sintering temperature of 900°C for 4 hours possesses physical characteristics. bulk density (2.3(0)-2.72(4)) g/cm2, true density (2.16(0)-2.3(4)) g/cm2, mean particle diameter (5.86(0)-5.21(4)) m, porosity (32.57(2)-29.19(4)) percent, water absorption (20.24(2)-15.09(4)) percent, pore distribution (25.75(0)-(13.03(4)) percent, hardness (494.79(0)-380.90(4)) percent HV. XRD data demonstrate a phase transition produced in which nepheline and anorthite phases exist without the addition of MgO, while clinoenstatite and forsterite phases exist with the addition of 30% MgO.
