The problem of this research revolves around the role of social media in revitalizing tourism in the state of Bouira, with the aim of defining the tourism potential of the region and presenting the reality of tourism in it. The importance of this study lies in showing the development of social media, which penetrated the lives of individuals and controlled their activities, and how this can be exploited to present the tourist destination in the region through the use of the activity of social influencers, because they are electronic opinion leaders who can be relied as ambassadors to present the tourist destination to their followers, relying on the descriptive approach to describe the studied phenomenon, using the interview to know the reality of tourism in the state of Bouira. The results showed that the state of Bouira as a tourist destination has not been discovered yet by Algerians, and does not receive the influx of tourists despite its natural, cultural, and historical richness, tourism does not rise to the required level.
