مستخلص: This study aims to shed light on the effective contribution that electronic payment methods can make in response to achieving financial stability and reducing liquidity crises that the Algerian economy suffers from, through positive effects and various contributions to achieving development goals, as the presence of electronic payment methods has become a necessity. Especially in light of the shift towards the digital economy. This study concluded that electronic payment methods have an effective contribution to facing many economic challenges, foremost of which are liquidity crises. However, with regard to Algeria, the efforts exerted are still few and not encouraging to truly benefit from this positive contribution. As a result of the lack of confidence and culture among most segments of society and the lack of promotion of such services, which means that more efforts must be made to meet these challenges faced by the banking sector and to spread more awareness among members of society and its institutions of the importance of this type of electronic payment means in meeting their needs.
