مستخلص: This study aimed at investigating the impact of the entrepreneurial orientation on innovation. A quantitative approach was adopted in the study. Data was collected through an online questionnaire. The sample size was 352 small and medium-sized enterprises in Jordan, which were selected using the proportional stratified random sampling technique. The questionnaire was filled out by the owners/managers as representatives of those enterprises. To judge the questionnaire validity, it was presented to a group of arbitrators specialized in this field as well as its reliability was confirmed by calculating Cronbach's alpha coefficient. SPSS was used to analyze the data. The results of the study revealed that the level of the relative importance of the entrepreneurial orientation and innovation at the surveyed enterprises was high, also, the results of the study revealed a significant impact of entrepreneurial orientation on innovation in the surveyed enterprises. The study made several recommendations, the most important of which are: small and medium sized enterprises in Jordan have great potential, these enterprises were advised to focus on the entrepreneurial orientation, therefore, those enterprises must be innovative, proactive, autonomous, and willing to take risks that may ultimately help them improve their innovativeness.
