مستخلص: The main goal of the power grid industry is to find new ways to transmit and generate electricity at low cost and with high reliability. These processes are more vulnerable to environmental issues than ever before due to the huge increase in oil consumption, increased demand, and increased production facilities. Changes in parameters such as electric buses, phase angles, and actual power in the transmission line may be defined as failures in power systems. This is due to typical changes in sudden increase or decrease, or external changes in the grid. Unable to control several power system parameters simultaneously and independently, Flexible Alternating Current Transmission Systems (FACTS) devices have excellent operating features and can be considered one of the most powerful solutions to reduce environmental disturbances. Finally, simulation results are determined that how each system operates under normal and abnormal conditions, which can be modelled on the proposed power grid. Comparative analysis has been performed for both UPFC & IPFC. Based on this analysis, IPFC performance is higher than UPFC to reduce power oscillations and voltage deviations in the second IEEE benchmark system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
