The article "Ways out of the dead end" deals with the therapy of children whose parent is mentally ill. A case study is described of a single mother with an 11-year-old daughter, in which the mother had inappropriate explanations for the child's behavior. Children of mentally ill parents are often heavily burdened and emotionally needy. The symptoms of the disorder have dramatic effects on the relationship between parent and child. The therapy aims to provide the girl with security, stability, and structure, and to treat the interaction disorder between mother and daughter. It is emphasized how important it is to develop an adequate understanding of the case, formulate clear therapy goals, and take a clear stance against harmful behavior. Often, mentally burdened parents also need appropriate psychotherapeutic treatment. [Extracted from the article] |

Der Artikel "Wege aus der Sackgasse" beschäftigt sich mit der Therapie von Kindern, deren Elternteil psychisch erkrankt ist. Es wird ein Fallbeispiel einer alleinerziehenden Mutter mit einer 11-jährigen Tochter beschrieben, bei dem die Mutter unpassende Erklärungsmodelle für das Verhalten des Kindes hatte. Kinder psychisch erkrankter Eltern sind oft stark belastet und emotional bedürftig. Die Symptome der Störung haben dramatische Auswirkungen auf die Beziehung zwischen Elternteil und Kind. Die Therapie zielt darauf ab, dem Mädchen Sicherheit, Stabilität und Struktur zu vermitteln und die Interaktionsstörung zwischen Mutter und Tochter zu behandeln. Es wird betont, wie wichtig es ist, ein adäquates Fallverständnis zu entwickeln, klare Therapieziele zu formulieren und eine klare Haltung gegenüber schädlichem Verhalten einzunehmen.
