| Abstract (English): |
The aim of this study was to reveal the effect of gamification in teaching chemistry on achievement and developing habits of mind among 10th grade female students in Riyadh. Quasi-experimental approach, with pre- post-measurements design was implemented on a random sample. An achievement test was prepared, and Habits of Mind scale for Alshakhs et al. (2015) was used. A gamification teaching model was designed. The results showed statistically significant difference at (α≤0.05) in achievement test between the mean scores of the groups in favor of experimental group, with medium effect size (d=0.71). A statistically significant difference in achievement test at the highest levels of achievement between the mean scores of the groups, with large effect size (d=1.02). The results showed statistically significant difference at (α≤0.05) in Habits of Mind scale between the mean scores of the groups as a whole in favor of the experimental group, with large effect size (d=0.88). Statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the groups in Habits of Mind scale in applying previous knowledge in new situations in favor of the experimental group, with large effect size (d=1.18), and in reciprocal thinking habit in favor of the experimental group, with medium effect size (d=0.73). هدفت الدراسة للكشف عن أثر توظيف التلعيب يف تدريس الكيمياء عىل التحصيل الدرايس، وتنمية عادات العقل لدى طالبات الصف األول الثانوي يف مدينة الرياض. واستخدم املنهج شبه التجريبي بتصميم املجموعتني التجريبية والضابطة، وتم اختيار العينة بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم إعداد اختبار حتصييل، واستخدام مقياس عادات العقل للشخص وآخرون )2015(، وتصميم نموذج التدريس بالتلعيب. وأظهرت النتائج ًا عن وجودفرق دال إحصائي د )α ≤0.05 )بني متوسطي درجات طالبات املجموعتني التجريبية والضابطة يف االختبار التحصييل ككل لصالح املجموعة التجريبية، ًا عند )α≤0.05 )بني متوسطي درجات طالبات املجموعتني التجريبية، والضابطة يف وبلغت قيمة d( 0.71)،( حجم األثر متوسط(. ووجود فرق دال إحصائي ً االختبار التحصييل عند مستويات التحصيل العليا ، وبلغت قيمة d( 1.02)،( حجم األثر كبري(. كام أظهرت النتائج وجود فرق دال إحصائيا عند )α ≤0.05 ) بني متوسطي درجات طالبات املجموع تني التجريبية والضابطة يف مقياس عادات العقل ككل لصالح املجموعة التجريبية، وبلغت قيمة d( 0.88( )حجم األثر ًا عند )α≤0.05 )بني متوسطي درجات طالبات املجموعتني التجريبية والضابطة يف مقياس عادات العقل يف عادة تطبيق املعارف كبري(. ووجود فرق دال إحصائي السابقة يف مواقف جديدة لصالح املجموعة التجريبية، وبلغت قيمة d( 1.18)،( حجم األثر كبري (. و يف عادة التفكري التبا ديل لصالح املجموعة التجريبية، وبلغت قيمة d( 0.73)،( حجم األثر متوسط).
