| Abstract (English): |
This research reports the evaluation of the quality of the waters of Rio Verde and Córrego do Fundo, both belonging to the Paraguay River Basin, in the municipality of Rio Verde de Mato Grosso-MS, through physical-chemical analysis and analysis of contaminating metals in surface waters. The collection points were chosen observing areas that are highly bathing, as well as places inside and outside the population environment, being possible the reception of contaminants by anthropogenic ways. The analyses were performed with the physicochemical parameters such as: pH, turbidity, apparent color, dissolved oxygen, electrical conductivity, total hardness, alkalinity and chlorides, total solids. And the analysis of potentially contaminating metals occurred through the method of Atomic Absorption Spectrometry being analyzed Cu, Fe and Ni. Of the physical and chemical parameters analyzed we had changes in pH, color and dissolved oxygen that are not in accordance with current legislation. Regarding the potentially contaminating metals, Fe presented values discordant with the literature. The Physicochemical parameters that are not in accordance with the current legislation and the Fe, may have presented values discordant with the stipulated due to the characteristic of the soil in the region that presents clays rich in Iron oxide and also due to the desedentation of the cattle can increase the concentration of clay in the Rio Verde and in the Corrégo do Fundo. Thus, we point out that the use of the waters for recreation is not contributing to the increase in the concentration of the analyzed parameters and potentially contaminating metals. Esta pesquisa relata a avaliação da qualidade das águas do Rio Verde e do Córrego do Fundo ambas pertecentes a Bacia do Rio Paraguai, no município de Rio Verde de Mato Grosso-MS, por meio de análises Físico-Química e de metais contaminantes em águas superficiais. Os pontos de coletas foram escolhidos observando áreas que são de alta balneabilidade, além de locais dentro e fora do ambiente populacional, sendo possível o recebimento de contaminantes por vias antropogênicas. As análises foram realizadas de com os parámetros Físico-Químicos tais como: pH, turbidez, cor, Oxigênio Dissolvido, Condutividade Elétrica, Dureza Total, Alcalinidade, Cloretos e Sólidos Totais. E a análise dos metais potencialmente contaminantes ocorreu por meio do do método de Espectrometria de Absorção Atômica sendo analisados Cu, Fe e Ni. Dos parámetros Físico-Químicos analisados tivermos alterações no pH, Cor e Oxigênio Dissolvido que não estão de acordo com a legislação vigente. Já em relação aos metais potencialmente contaminantes o Fe apresentou valores discordantes com a literatura. Os parâmetros Físico-Química que não estão de acordó com a legislação vigente e o Fe, podem ter apresentados valores discordantes com o estipulado devido à característica do solo da região que apresenta argilas ricas em óxido de Ferro e també devido a dessedentação do gado pode aumentar a concentração de argila no Rio Verde e no Corrégo do Fundo. Dessa forma, apontarmos que a utilização das águas para a recreação não está contribuíndo para o aumento da concentração dos parâmetros analisados e dos metais potencialmente contaminantes.
