مستخلص: The innovations in wireless sensor networks, mobile computing, etc., are creating asignificant impact in healthcare applications. The wireless body area network or telecare medical data transmission system (TMDT) helps transmit patient information continuously to monitor the patient remotely. The transmitted information consists of several secured and confidential data that require secure data broadcasting process. Recently, various cryptography techniques are illustrated to manage data security in health care monitoring systems. Although, existing approaches fail to predict intermediate attacks like man-in-the-middle, replay attacks, and denial of service. Therefore, an effective authentication mechanism should be created to overcome the existing research issues. In this work, multifactor authentication is incorporated with multi-biometric features to manage data security and privacy. The multifactor authentication protocol authenticates the user for every transaction that provides data security and privacy successfully. In addition to this, biometric authentication has unique features that improve sensor networks' further data security. The discussed system was evaluated using simulation results.
