Abstract (English): Increasing the concentration of polyacrylonitrile (PAN) spinning solution can not only improve the spinning efficiency, but also the ability of the filament to withstand tension during spinning, which is expected to improve the structural compactness and mechanical properties of fibers. However, the increase in concentration will affect the stability and spinnability of PAN solution. Therefore, polyacrylonitrile/dimethyl sulfoxide (PAN/DMSO) solutions with a concentration of 21% ~31% were prepared and the relationship between the concentration of PAN/ DMSO solution and its uniform stability was assessed by rheological properties. The results show that PAN with the viscosity- average molecular weight of 7.6×104 which was prepared by the aqueous precipitation method has a strong solubility when dissolved in DMSO, and the solution concentration can reach 31% after full dissolution. The steady-state apparent viscosity and dynamic complex viscosity curves of PAN/DMSO solution with concentration of 21% ~26% at low frequency are basically consistent, and there is no gel transition in the temperature range of 0~80 ºC, indicating that the PAN/DMSO solutions with concentrations of 21%~26% are homogeneous and stable. However, 29% and 31% PAN/ DMSO solutions have high viscoelasticity, and the low- temperature gel transformation occurs at 3.4 ºC and 10.3 ºC respectively, showing the characteristics of heterogeneous solution, in which the 31% PAN/DMSO solution produces chemical gel. Therefore, considering the homogeneousness and stability of spinning solution, it is recommended that the concentration of PAN/DMSO solution should be controlled below 29%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Chinese): 提高聚丙烯腈(PAN)纺丝液浓度一方面可以提高纺丝效率,另一方面还可以提高纺程丝条承受张力的能力,从 而有望提高纤维的结构致密性和力学性能;但是提高浓度会影响溶液的稳定性和可纺性,为此文中制备了质量分数为 21%~31%的聚丙烯腈/二甲基亚砜(PAN/DMSO)溶液,通过流变性能来判断PAN/DMSO溶液浓度与其均匀稳定性的 关系。结果表明,采用水相沉淀法制备的黏均分子量为7.6×104 的PAN,在用 DMSO 进行溶解时,对PAN的溶解能力较 强,充分溶解后,溶液质量分数可达31%。质量分数21%~26%的PAN/DMSO 溶液在低频区的稳态表观黏度与动态复 数黏度曲线基本吻合,且在 0~80 ℃ 温度范围内未发生凝胶化转变,表明21%~26%的PAN/DMSO 溶液是均匀稳定的; 而 29%和 31%的 PAN/DMSO 溶液具有较高的黏弹性,分别在3.4 ℃和10.3 ℃发生了低温凝胶转变,显示出非均相溶液 特征,其中,31% 的 PAN/DMSO 溶液产生了化学凝胶。因此,从纺丝溶液的均匀稳定性来考虑,建议 PAN/DMSO 溶液 质量分数应控制在 29% 以下。 [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
