مستخلص: RDI-MSA is an algorithm for multiple alignment of DNA/RNA and other sequences based on a parallelized random delete-insert method. It can be executed on several hundreds or thousands threads on CUDA cores. The algorithm randomly inserts (and deletes) gaps in all sequences simultaneously, instead of current exhaustive reordering implementations. Each CUDA core evaluates and process a pre-defined area of the sequence matrix and stores the score to be used in next iterations. The algorithm is profiled and evaluated with nVIDIA Nsight.
