مستخلص: Firms function in a world that is growing more technologically sophisticated. Indian manufacturers are today facing healthy competition, especially from global giants. To satisfy the demands of future manufacturing, a dynamic spectrum of potentially viable technologies exists. Organizations must be aware of the capacity and competency maturity stage of manufacturing technologies in order to sustain competitive advantages. This case study presented here was conducted at Honda two-wheeler motorcycles which is a large Indian manufacturing company. This case study aids in assessing the company's technological competencies factors as well as overall performance. The top management support, technology adoption, technology capabilities, technology infrastructure, technology acquisition and information technology have been considered as significant technological competency factors in this study. These factors can help a company perform better in the marketplace if they are given priority. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
