This article, published in the Journal of Neurological Surgery, explores the correlations between cranial nerve outcomes and radiological changes in surgically treated vestibular schwannoma (VS) patients. The study found that immediate postoperative CNVII palsy was positively correlated with changes in middle cerebral peduncle (MCP) thickness, but there were no correlations between CNVII palsy and MRI FLAIR indexes.
