مستخلص: Together with a number of other protected areas, Apuseni Nature Park forms one of the largest continuous protected areas in Romania. The total area comprises 1 nature park, 3 Natura 2000 sites and 55 small protected areas of national interest. The integration of the sites with each other provides the framework to preserve landscapes, natural values and biodiversity, in the context of sustainable development and of increasing the resilience of local communities, by using an adaptative management plan to face social and economic challenges.
