مستخلص: The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of the blended learning model on students' conceptual understanding abilities. There is an influence of self-confidence (high, medium, low) on the eleventh-grade students' concept understanding abilities at SMA Negeri 1 Kalianda on temperature and heat, and there is an interaction between the blended learning model and self-confidence (high, medium, low) on students' conceptual understanding. The research employed the quantitative with a quasi-experimental method. The Randomized Control Group-Only Posttest Design was employed. The two-way ANOVA test was intended to measure the influence of the Blended learning model on students' ability to understand concepts in terms of self-confidence. Data gathering instruments included description tests on conceptual understanding and self-confidence questionnaires. The findings of the research are as follows: (1) there is an effect of the blended learning model on conceptual understanding; (2) there is an effect of self-confidence on conceptual understanding; and (3) there is an interaction between the blended learning model and self-confidence on conceptual understanding.
