| Abstract (English): |
The study aimed to identify the reality of using electronic and virtual libraries from the point of view of teachers at the College of Arts, University of Mosul. It also revealed the most important difficulties facing the sample members when they use electronic and virtual libraries. The study used the descriptive and survey method to suit this type of studies. The questionnaire was used as the main tool for collecting data. The sample consisted of (60) teachers in the College of Arts, University of Mosul. The sample was chosen randomly intentionally from the study sample population. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: The most important results are: 1-The most important reasons for using electronic and virtual libraries by researchers are their importance in accelerating scientific research processes and placing the intellectual production of some countries on electronic information containers, in addition to the availability of new advanced services. 2- Researchers face many difficulties in using electronic and virtual libraries, including their weak desire to use modern technologies, the lack of devices allocated to researchers, in addition to the difficulty of downloading and printing, and poor skill in search and retrieval operations and in using computers and the Internet. The researcher recommended important advice, the most important of which are: 1- Researchers are requested to give lectures on the role of electronic libraries and private libraries and their importance in supporting innovative scientific and educational research for their use. 2- It is requested to conduct a programming course and a media workshop on the use of computers and the Internet, and to conduct a course on how to use electronic libraries and digital libraries to give the centralization skills in search and retrieval operations.. هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع استخدام المكتبات الإلكترونية والافتراضية من وجهه نظر تدريسيي كلية الآداب جامعة الموصل . كما كشفت عن أهم الصعوبات التي تواجه أفراد العينة عند استخدامهم المكتبات الإلكترونية والافتراضية . استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي والمسحي لملاءمته لهذا النوع من الدراسات واستخدمت الاستبانة كأداة رئيسية لجمع البيانات وقد تكونت العينة من (٦٠) تدريسي في كلية الآداب جامعة الموصل تم اختيار العينة عمدية عشوائية من مجتمع عينة الدراسة وقد توصلت الدراسة لعدد من النتائج أهمها : 1- أن أهم أسباب استخدام المكتبات الالكترونية والافتراضية من قبل الباحثين لأهميتها في تسريع عمليات البحث العلمي ووضع النتاج الفكري لبعض الدول على أوعية معلومات الكترونية فضلاً عن توفر خدمات جديدة متطورة. يواجه الباحثين صعوبات عديدة باستخدام المكتبات الإلكترونية والافتراضية منها ضعف رغبتهم باستخدام التقنيات الحديثة وقلة الأجهزة المخصصة للباحثين فضلاً عن صعوبة التحميل والطباعة وضعف المهارة في عمليات البحث والاسترجاع وفي استخدام الحاسوب والأنترنت وقد أوصى الباحث ببعض التوصيات من أهمها : 1 - يوصي الباحث بعمل محاضرات عن دور المكتبات الإلكترونية والمكتبات الافتراضية وأهميتها في دعم البحث العلمي وتثقيف الباحثين وتوجيههم لاستخدامها . ٢ - يوصي الباحث بعمل دورات تدريبية وورش إعلامية عن استخدام الحاسوب والإنترنت وعمل دورات تدريبية عن كيفية استخدام المكتبات الإلكترونية والمكتبات الافتراضية لإكساب الباحثين مهارة في الاستخدام في عمليات البحث والاسترجاع ...
