مستخلص: This article, published in the journal Endoscopy, presents a case study of a 54-year-old male with Crohn's disease who had a bezoar in his mid-ileum. The bezoar was successfully removed using antegrade double-balloon enteroscopy (DBE) and electrohydraulic lithotripsy (EHL). Although the bezoar was only partially fractured during the procedure, it was ultimately retrieved using a retrieval net. The patient experienced no adverse events and was discharged the following day. The article concludes that DBE is an effective technique for treating small bowel conditions and can help avoid the need for surgery. [Extracted from the article]
