مستخلص: This article discusses the use of peroral cholangioscopy in the treatment of post-liver transplant biliary anastomotic strictures (BAS). BAS is a common complication after liver transplant, and conventional treatment involves ERCP with stent placement. However, in some cases, wire access across the stricture is difficult, and cholangioscopy is needed to guide the wire placement. The study identified eight liver transplant recipients who required cholangioscopy for wire access, with most cases being true pinhole anastomosis. The patients achieved stricture resolution with ERCP, and no adverse events were reported. Cholangioscopy is considered a valuable tool in the treatment of biliary complications post-liver transplant. [Extracted from the article]
