The text is an interview with Marie-Hélène Marganne, honorary director of the Center for Literary Papyrology Documentation. Marganne talks about the relationship between papyrology and classical philology, and how papyrology provides new Greek and Latin texts to philology. The academic interrelation between both disciplines and the challenges that papyrology faces by being traditionally linked to classical philology are also discussed. Papyrology faces dangers such as the disappearance of Greek and Latin from teaching programs and budgetary restrictions. También se discute la interrelación académica entre ambas disciplinas y los desafíos que enfrenta la papirología al estar ligada tradicionalmente a la filología clásica.
