مستخلص: This article discusses the difficulty in diagnosing thoracic aortic aneurysms (TAA) and the need for better diagnostic biomarkers. The study analyzed blood samples from 80 patients, with 40 in the TAA group and 40 in the control group. Proteome analysis identified several proteins that showed significant differences in concentration between the two groups, including Protein S100 A8 and Serum Amyloid Protein A. These proteins have potential as biomarkers for the diagnosis of TAA, but further validation is needed. [Extracted from the article]
