| Abstract (English): |
This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of an enrichment mobile application based on the gamification approach (Dr. Electron) on the attitudes towards science and self-efficacy of eighth-grade students in the Sultanate of Oman amid the COVID-19 pandemic. A quasi-experimental design was employed, utilizing both pre-test and post-test control group designs. The study sample comprised 63 students, with 33 assigned to the experimental group and 30 to the control group. The study used Measurement instruments including a science attitude scale with a reliability coefficient of 0.86 and a self-efficacy scale with a reliability coefficient of 0.93. Results indicated statistically significant differences in the post-test application between the control and experimental groups, favoring the teaching method employed for the experimental group in both the science attitude and self-efficacy scales. The study found no statistically significant interaction effect between the teaching method and gender in the post-test application of the science attitude scale. However, a slight interaction was observed between the teaching method and gender in the self-efficacy scale. The study recommends that science educators emphasize the importance of designing and implementing enrichment applications based on gamification principles to foster positive attitudes towards science and enhance students' self-efficacy. ي قائم على منحى التلعيب) اثرا ئ ي Dr. هدفت الدراسة إلى استقصاء فاعلية تطبيق هات ف ي الاتجاه نحو العلوم و الفاعلية الذاتية لدى طلبة الصف الثامن الأسا ي ش بسل ط Electron (ف نة ي ظل جائحة كورونا، و تم استخدام المنهج شبه التجري ي ب المعتمد على التصميم ذي عمان ف المجموعت ي الضابطة والتجريبية والتطبيق القب ي لى والبعدي، و تكونت عينة الدراسة من 63 طالبًا ي الصف الثامن الأسا ي ش انقسموا إلى وطالبة ف 33 المجموعة التجريبية و ي ف 30 المجموعة ي ف الضابطة، كذلك استخدم مقياس الاتجاه نحو العلوم والذي بلغت قيمة معامل الثبات 0.86 ومقياس الفاعلية الذاتية والذي بلغت قيمة معامل الثبات فيه 0.93. وأظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ي التطبيق البعدي ب ي المجموعت ي الضابطة والتجريبية تعزى لطريقة ذات دلالة إحصائية ف ي كل من مقياس الاتجاه نحو العلوم ومقياس الفاعلية التدريس لصالح المجموعة التجريبية ف الذاتية، كما توصلت الدراسة إ لى عدم وجود أثر دال إحصائيًا للتفاعل ب ي طريقة التدريس ومتغ ت ي ح ي كان هناك تفاعل بسيط التطبيق البعدي لمقياس الاتجاه نحو العلوم ف ي ف النوع الاجتما ي ع ي مقياس الفاعلية الذات ف طريقة التدريس والنوع الاجتما ي ع ب ي ية. الدراسة ب ضورة توجيه وتو ي ص القائم ي على تدريس العلوم إلى أهمية تصميم واستخدام التطبيقات الاثرائية القائمة على مبادئ.
