مستخلص: Researchers from the Government of India have conducted a study on the potential use of Oroxylum indicum Vent, a plant commonly used in Ayurveda, for the treatment and prevention of nasopharyngeal cancer. The study utilized in-silico analysis, including molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations, to evaluate the effectiveness of certain compounds from the plant in targeting proteins associated with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) replication and nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) proliferation. The results suggest that these compounds have the potential to inhibit both EBV and NPC, but further in-vitro and in-vivo validations are needed. [Extracted from the article]
