| Abstract (English): |
The Ifni Sahara War (1957-1958) was eminently a land conflict however, Spanish Navy had an important logistical role. Navy medical officers provided medical support to both the ships' crews and the Marine Corps detachment on El Aaiún beach, in a satisfactory way in the authors' point of view. Peninsular naval hospitals such as San Carlos (Cádiz) or the tuberculosis sanatorium in Madrid were some of the health centers in the rearguard. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

La guerra de Ifni Sahara de 1957 y 1958 fue eminentemente un conflicto terrestre, sin embargo, la Armada española tuvo un importante papel logístico. Los oficiales médicos de Armada prestaron apoyo sanitario tanto a las dotaciones de los buques como al destacamento de Infantería de Marina en la playa de El Aaiún, de forma satisfactoria a juicio de los autores.
