| Abstract (English): |
The purpose of the article is to reveal the period in which the so-called perfect bodies are consolidated in accordance with the parameterization established by the National Beauty Contest. It seeks to demonstrate what and how they are, the characteristics and qualities that make up this parameterization through which the aesthetic canons that women must meet to be considered beautiful and feminine are imposed. These social constructions are responsible for a national beauty model that forces women to validate themselves through physical stereotypes that even attack themselves and exclude those who differ from it. In methodological terms, the editions of the magazine Cromos were reviewed during the celebration of the reign until the period of interest was located, which goes from 1969 to 1976. The analysis was proposed from the perspective of Critical Discourse Analysis -CDA-. The search and encounter variable were determined by the concepts beauty and femininity associated with ideal bodies. The results show that the stereotype of female beauty based on perfect bodies obeys the interests of a system of social domination such as heteropatriarchy that determines how beautiful women should be. El propósito del artículo es desvelar el periodo en que se consolidan los denominados cuerpos perfectos de acuerdo con la parametrización establecida por el Concurso Nacional de Belleza, celebrado históricamente en Cartagena. Se busca evidenciar, cuáles y cómo son, las características y cualidades que conforman esta parametrización a través de la cual, se imponen los cánones estéticos que las mujeres deben cumplir para ser consideradas, bellas y femeninas. Estas construcciones sociales son responsables de un modelo de belleza nacional que conmina a las mujeres a validarse a través de estereotipos físicos que incluso, atentan contra sí mismas, y excluyen a quienes difieren de este. En términos metodológicos, se revisaron las ediciones de la revista Cromos durante la celebración del reinado hasta localizar el periodo objeto de interés, que va de 1969 a 1976. El análisis se propuso desde la perspectiva del Análisis Crítico del Discurso -ACD-. La variable de búsqueda y encuentro se determinó por los conceptos belleza y feminidad asociados a cuerpos ideales. Los resultados muestran que, el estereotipo de belleza femenina basado en cuerpos perfectos, obedece a los intereses de un sistema de dominación social como es el heteropatriarcado que determina, cómo deben ser las mujeres bellas.
