A recent study conducted in Bengaluru, India, explored the levels of resilience among Indian women living with breast cancer. The study found that resilience for these women involves maintaining positivity and adaptability in the face of complex challenges affecting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. The research identified four themes of resilience: the life-changing experience of a cancer diagnosis, restoring a healthy perception in adverse events, the types of support that contribute to resilience, and learning and growing from the experience.
