This article explores the thinking of Dallas Willard and his contribution to contemporary Christian spiritual formation. In the first chapter, the author's biography is outlined, addressing his perspectives on discipleship, the Kingdom of God, spiritual formation, and spiritual disciplines. The second chapter examines the paradigmatic crisis in contemporary society, highlighting reactions to Christian spirituality. Willard, through his protoevangelical perspective, emerges as a balanced alternative, transcending social isolation, individualism, and other characteristics of postmodernity. By connecting Willard's ideas to contemporary challenges, his enduring relevance for authentic Christian living is emphasized. In a context where society seeks meaning in a complex and fluid reality, Willard's contributions resonate as a call to deep spiritual formation and an authentic experience of the Gospel. Este artigo explora o pensamento de Dallas Willard e sua contribuição à formação espiritual cristã contemporânea. No primeiro capítulo, são delineados a biografia do autor, abordando sua visão sobre discipulado, Reino de Deus, formação espiritual e disciplinas espirituais. No segundo capítulo, examina-se a crise paradigmática na sociedade atual, evidenciando reações à espiritualidade cristã. Willard, por meio de sua perspectiva protoevangélica, emerge como uma alternativa equilibrada, transcendendo o isolamento social, o individualismo e outras características da pós-modernidade. Ao conectar as ideias de Willard aos desafios contemporâneos, destaca-se sua relevância duradoura para uma vida cristã autêntica.
