Corrosion, in conjunction with chemical, thermal, and stress-related factors, results in long-term issues for ships and submarines that are subjected to corrosive environments. Marine components are vulnerable to corrosion, which may lead to costly repairs. Applying coatings and subjecting aluminium components to heat treatment might successfully prevent corrosion. There has been much global research into corrosion processes, and technologies have been developed to determine the extent of corrosion damage to reinforcement. The purpose of this study is to provide a concise synopsis of corrosion prevention coatings and corrosion processes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
