Abstract (English): This study looks at strategies for introducing Miguel de Cervantes's Don Quixote, published in two parts (1605, 1615), to senior citizens. Based on a course titled "A Don Quixote Sampler," the essay focuses on the content and structure of the narrative, its multiple contexts, the development of the modern novel, the legacy of Cervantes's work, and the theme of selfconsciousness in literature (metafiction). The course presents representative chapters of the text, so that participants can have a sense of the comprehensive design of Don Quixote. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
