The article focuses on a behavioral intervention program related to diabetes care and self-management. In this program, through the use of computer-assisted and interactive video procedures, patient views and behaviors related to diabetes care and self-management are assessed. They are then immediately summarized on user-friendly feedback forms for both patients and providers. The interactive video is designed to present information compatible with patient's stage of dietary change and emphasizes on barriers to dietary self-management that the patient is most likely to encounter. |
