The article explores the experience of Samantha Marker as a librarian in Glassboro, New Jersey. After she graduated from Rowan University with a Masters of Arts in School and Public Librarianship, she began her internship in January 2006 and in March 2008, she became a full-time librarian. She was attracted to the Mount Laurel Library Program because of the unique way that librarians serve their customers and it is one of the pioneers of a progressive approach to public librarianship and the Trading Spaces Project. |
