In this editorial the author notes the 2008 independence of the Balkan state of Kosovo, stating that it was achieved as a result of intervention against Serbia by the forces of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. The author suggests that intervention on the part of the United Nations is required to liberate the peoples of the Darfur region of the Sudan. |
