It presents letters written by American author Mark Twain from 1871-1872, including letters for his friend James Redpath about his lecture tour and his brother, Orion regarding his plan to go to England. It also presents Twain's first correspondence with American author William Dean Howells, where he mentioned that his book "Roughing It" sold well.
