مستخلص: A simple titration procedure has been developed for the analysis of oxidizable polymer on certain flame retardant fabrics. It can be used as a quality control tool to measure the extent of oxidation of phosphorus and other polymeric material in such finishes. The procedure was used to determine whether oxidized or nonoxidized material was lost in laundering the fabrics and to investigate possible differences in the effects of gas and electric dryers in the laundering of flame retardant fabrics.
