The article reports on the need for veterinary surgeons and registered veterinary nurses (RVNs) to acquire cards from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS ) in Great Britain. The cards will be used to record their continuing professional development (CPD) for 2009. RCVS notes that undertaking and recording CPD is a mandatory requirement for veterinarians and RVNs. Moreover, veterinarians should have 105 hours of CPD over a three-year period, while RVNs should complete 45 hours. |
