The article offers information on various issues related to food laws and legislation in Europe. The government of Belgium has approved its Royal Decree of 12 February 2009 which focuses on the rules on the processing and marketing of food supplements. The Italian government has released its Food Improvement Agent Package (FIAP) which contains rules on harmonized legislation on food enzymes. The government of Denmark also plans to establish a bill on the composition of foods such as chocolate, ice-cream, and sugary soft drinks. |
