مستخلص: Thirty-five patients with moderate to severe acne were treated with a fractional 1320 nm neodymium : yttrium aluminum garnet (Nd : YAG) laser. These patients received six treatment sessions at a 2-week interval. Inflammatory and non-inflammatory lesions were counted before and after treatment. Fractional 1320 nm Nd : YAG laser therapy was well tolerated, resulting in the reduction of inflammatory lesions by 57% ( P<0.05) and the reduction of non-inflammatory lesions by 35% ( P<0.05). A significant reduction in the skin sebum level by 30% ( P<0.05) was also noted after treatment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
