مستخلص: The article presents extracts of a reports and an advice related to training for trainer roles. Mr Len Newton, addressing the BACIE conference, Training for Trainer Roles, gave his reactions to the first report of the Training of Trainers Committee. The report recommends that the Manpower Services Commission, in conjunction with other relevant bodies, should investigate the possibility of a chair of training at a British University or equivalent center of higher education. Newton pleads them to consider the view, that this should be an independent body with an independent council, although clearly the council should have members of the Commission, the Department of Education and Science and Industry upon it. Harry Levinson, a noted organizational psychologist, advised managers who find themselves stymied by some problem. He advises managers to step back for a moment and ask if they are dealing with the impossible, suffering from a rescue fantasy, or trying to find answers before they have defined the problem.
