The article presents a study which describes the two-parameter model on the mathematics of income inequality. The authors use a Gini index model to interpolate between self-similar behavior at high or low ends of income distribution. It reveals that splitting the Gini index can accurately capture realistic data on income distribution and how income data is shifted over time. |
