An article on the history of the field of Belarusian literature in the 20th century is presented using the the example of Marxist Belasrusian author Michas' Zarėcki. The author discusses the personal and professional history as well as the literary works of Zarėcki including a fragment of the novel "Kryvičy," as well as the book "Smerc' Andrėja Berazoŭskaha." The role of autonomy in the Belarusian literary scene is examined, and the author offers criticisms of the position-taking techniques used in Zarėcki's writings. |
