مستخلص: The article presents a study that evaluates the effects of blood flow, cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) and anemia on tissue oxygen tension (pO2) in the medulla and renal cortex. The study is conducted among that underwent normothermic cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) and measuring their renal blood flow (RBF) and tissue PO2. The results of the study show that the difference in the level of hypoxia in the medulla and renal cortex can be useful in understanding the progress of medullary hypoxia.
