| Abstract (English): |
This study aimed at examining the adjustment of foreign students studying at the universities in Jordan socially and academically, using several factors academic, psychological, social and economic perspectives. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher has developed a questionnaire dealing with these factors. This questionnaire is distributed over a sample chosen via strata random approach that consists of 350 male and female students. The study reached the following results: there are no statistically significant differences in the foreign students' adaptation. It has been revealed that the adjustment in its highest level was economically followed by social, psychological and the lowest was academic scope. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة مدى تكيف وتوافق الطلبة الوافدين الدارسين في الجامعات الأردنية في أربعة مجالات هي: المجال الأكاديمي، والمجال النفسي، والمجال الاجتماعي، والمجال الاقتصادي، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تم تطوير استبانه بحث تضمنت المجالات المشار إليها أعلاه، طبقت على عينة عشوائية طبقية بلغ حجمها (350) طالبا وطالبة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في تكيف وتوافق الطلبة الوافدين تعزى لمتغير المستوى الدراسي. وتبين أن أعلى مستوى للتكيف كان في المجال الاقتصادي، يليه المجال الاجتماعي ثم المجال النفسي وان أقل مستوى تكيف كان في المجال الأكاديمي.
