This experiment was designed to investigate physiologic effects of Vicia faba L. under salt-alkali stress, including KCl/NaCl, KCl/Na2CO3, KCl/Na2SO4, KCl, NaCl five treatments for 2 weeks, the total chlorophyll contents, malondialdehyde (MDA) and soluble sugar contents were analyzed. The results indicated that the chlorophyll a + b contents of seedlings decline, malondialdehyde (MDA) and soluble sugar contents increased with extending of stress time. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
