The article provides an overview of the energy supply base in Pakistan. It mentions that the major energy consuming sectors such as commercial, transport domestic agriculture and industrial had very little reliance on commodity. It states that hardly 20% and 60% of the total number of households are respectively connected to the national gas pipelines and electric grid entails that the non-commercial base comprised large proportion of the country's total supplies. |
