مستخلص: Due to their excellent chemical and physical properties, carbon nanotubes (CNT) have wide-range potential applications. In heterogeneous catalysis, carbon materials as catalyst supports have been attracting a growing interest. Carbon supported catalysts can be used in many reactions but the use of carbon nanotube supported catalysts in chemical vapor deposition reaction for CNT growth is still not well understood in literature. This review intends to systematize the data published in the literature on this topic in order to understand the parameters governing the catalytic consequences of carbon nanotube used as support in chemical vapor deposition reaction.
