مستخلص: A novel carbon nanotube bundles (CNTB) material was synthesized and evaluated for the adsorption of Cr(VI) for the first time. The 300600nm long parallel channels with 10 nm pore diameter of CNTB lead to more adsorption sites and lower mass transfer resistance than a commercial AC material and thus to remarkably larger adsorption capacity and faster adsorption rate than AC. The Cr(VI) adsorption on CNTB was found to be well fitted to pseudo-second-order model and Langmuir isotherm model. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
