مستخلص: |
The article focuses on the launch of the project to analyse the material from Gebel el-Silsila or Kheny in Egypt in 2007. It discusses the Temple of Sobek from which the face of a pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty, the snout of Sobek, and a large intact block with the body of a pharaoh were discovered. The injuries and trauma of Kheny's inhabitants were thought to be due to high levels of manual labour, as seen in torn muscle attachments and fractured bones. |
