At present, the construction of ecological civilization in China has achieved initial results, but there are some problems in the construction process. For these problems, we can use the ecological thought to find a more scientific method. In the paper, the sustainable development theory model and ecological model are studied and analyzed. The results of the study show that: priority should be given to conservation, protection, natural restoration, prevention at the source, and efforts to promote green and low-carbon cyclical development. The general idea is to strengthen the legal system, establish a comprehensive decision-making system, a resource and environmental property rights system, with a scientific evaluation mechanism and a technical support system to accelerate the improvement of ecological civilization construction countermeasures.
