مستخلص: The article provides information on what to do when someone having trouble trying to create/add new Nodes to the Cell in WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment (WAS-ND) 6. Jeff Messore, eAcuity Strategic Partners chief architect, provides solution to the problem. He notes that there's a change in WebSphere Application Server 6 in the correct location to run this command. Previously, in WebSphere 5.x, running the add-node command at the installed root was the correct location to create new nodes in your cell. In version 6, running the add-Node command at this location is interpreted at the cell profile level and WAS tries to create the cell manager again. To fix the problem, the user should go one level down to the profile's/bin directory for the managed node and run the add-Node command to correctly add a node using the managed node profile.
